In the wake of the 2016 edition, the RIPA team continues its tradition by releasing a publication that combines the theoretical depth of the performative practices and the particular and creative energy of the performed actions. It gathers the texts of Yan St-Onge, Julie Laurin, Maude Johnson, Laurence Beaudoin Morin, Félipe Goulet-Letarte, Emma-Kate Guimond and Félix Chartré-Lefebvre.

RIPA wishes to warmly thank the authors, participants, round table guest speakers, and collaborators of the 2016’s edition.

The most recent publication of RIPA is composed of the texts of Janick Burn, Sophie Castonguay, Félix Chartré-Lefebvre, Guillaume Dufour Morin, Maude Johnson, Marie-Ève Leclerc-Parker and Didier Morelli. Taking different approaches such as the diary, scientific article, poetic essay and questionnaire, the texts echo the 2015 RIPA’s edition, but also takes it a step further by inviting it’s readers to reflect on the issues related to performance art.
